2024 ASEG Wine Offer

The ASEG SA/NT Branch is pleased to be able to present the following wines to ASEG members. These wines were found by the tasting panel to be enjoyable drinking and excellent value. The price of each wine includes GST and bulk delivery to a distribution point in each capital city in early December. Stocks of these wines are limited and orders will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that this is a non-profit activity carried out by the ASEG SA/NT Branch committee only for ASEG members. The prices have been specially negotiated with the wineries and are not available through commercial outlets. Compare prices if you wish but you must not disclose them to commercial outlets.

Bec Hardy Pertaringa 2024 Lakeside Pinot Grigio

Lakeside is about the fun things in life! Sitting at the water’s edge, enjoying a glass of wine with friends while taking in the surroundings. This elegant and refreshing Pinot Grigio is just perfect for this. The 2024 growing season had cooler than average conditions which allowed for good acid retention and freshness, with lifted citrus and apple notes on the nose. The palate is crisp and dry, with fresh citrus and pear flavours. This wine is refreshing and balanced with great flavour length; drink now to 2027.

Bec Hardy Pertaringa Lakeside Sparkling NV

Back to sitting at that water’s edge, but this time with a glass of sparkling! Who doesn’t love that? This crisp and refreshing sparkling wine is perfect for any festive occasion. The nose offers beautifully vibrant notes of citrus, fresh apple and a hint of red berries. The palate youthful and light with perfectly balanced acidity and clean finish; for drinking now.

Kalleske 2023 Moppa Shiraz

The 2023 Moppa is predominantly Shiraz with a trace of Petit Verdot (3%) and Viognier (3%) blended in for added complexity, with a deep purple colour. The aromatics are bright and lifted with dark cherries, crushed blueberries, flower perfume, red liquorice, rose water, clove spice and a touch of sweet oak. The palate is full-bodied with rich juicy fruits at the lead, middle and end of this wine, loaded with plum as well as pomegranate. The intense fruit is also complemented with background oak barrel flavours. A clean lengthy finish completes a trademark Moppa Shiraz. Moppa 2023 is an expressive wine that can be enjoyed now or will cellar well in the medium to long term.
