b'NewsGeophysics in the surveysGeological Survey of South Australia: New South Australian Bouguer gravity products available now!At the time of writing, SARIG(https://map.sarig.sa.gov.au/) has updated with an updated Bouguer gravity point layer, now with over one million gravity observations available to the public. The Bouguer gravity images are not yet uploaded (at the time of writing) but by the time youre reading this the image layers should have been updated too. As well as the products, there are several metadata pages online that contain links to the data.There is also a detailed report containingthe technical specifications forthe grid, including detailed instructions to assist processing geophysicists to undertake the Supervised Variable Density Gridding process themselves. The report will be available through the SARIG catalogue (https://catalog.sarig.sa.gov.au/geonetwork/) and can be found by searching for keywords gravity 2024.The raster productsincluding Bouguer Gravity (Figure 1), 1VD, and Residual Bouguer Gravitywere made using Intrepid, ArcMap, and PA software. Products are available in GDA2020 Geodetic, GDA2020 MGA zones 52 to 54, and GDA2020 SA Lambert Conformal Conic datum/projection combinations.
